Operation / Usage
- Inspect hose/reel; ensure air source ≤ 300 PSI; test ratchet; verify stopper
- Pull & lock to length; attach air nozzle/tool; check for leaks
- Retract with a short forward tug; guide hose back slowly
- After use: Turn off air, bleed remaining air, store dry/covered
Before Use
- Inspect for Damage: Confirm there are no frays, cracks, or loose connections on the hose or reel.
- Check Pressure Compatibility: Air source must not exceed 300 PSI.
- Test Retraction: Slowly pull the hose to desired length and listen for the ratchet to click and hold.
- Stopper Check: Ensure 10-ft stopper is in place to prevent full retraction.
Troubleshooting Guide-
- Hose does not retract

- Cause: Hose is locked in place, spring tension too low, or internal mechanism jammed

- Solution: Pull hose gently until you hear a “click” to release the lock. Manually assist hose back into the reel to restore tension. If problem continues, contact support—internal spring may be damaged.
- Hose does not lock in place
- Cause: Hose not extended far enough or ratchet not engaging

- Solution: Pull hose out further—listen for multiple “clicks”. Release slowly to allow ratchet to hold position.
- Air leaking from fittings
- Cause: Loose connections, missing thread seal tape, or cracked fitting

- Solution: Tighten connections with a wrench. Apply new thread seal tape. Inspect fittings and replace if damaged.
- Weak or no air pressure
- Cause: Compressor issue, kinked hose, or blocked nozzle
- Solution: Check air compressor power and pressure setting. Uncoil hose and check for kinks or obstructions.
- Clean or replace nozzle or tool attachment
- Reel shifts or wobbles during use
- Cause: Loose mounting hardware or unstable surface
- Solution: Tighten all mounting screws or bolts. Remount on a solid wall, ceiling stud, or workbench surface.
- Nozzle attachment leaks air
- Cause: Improper seal, damaged O-ring, or mismatched fitting
- Solution: Reconnect nozzle and ensure tight fit. Inspect and replace O-ring if worn or missing. Use correct size and type of fitting.
