Operation / Usage
- Inspect hose/reel; ensure water source ≤ 300 PSI; test ratchet; verify stopper
- Pull & lock to desired length; attach sprayer or nozzle; check for leaks
- Retract with a short forward tug; guide hose back slowly to prevent whipback
- After use: Turn off water, drain remaining water, and store in a dry, covered location
Before Use
- Inspect for Damage: Confirm there are no frays, cracks, or loose connections on the hose or reel.
- Check Pressure Compatibility: Water source must not exceed 300 PSI.
- Test Retraction: Slowly pull the hose to the desired length and listen for the ratchet to click and hold.
- Stopper Check: Ensure the 10-ft stopper is in place to prevent full retraction.
Troubleshooting Guide- Hose does not retract
- Cause: Hose is locked in place, spring tension too low, or internal mechanism jammed

- Solution: Pull hose gently until you hear a “click” to release the lock. Manually assist hose back into the reel to restore tension.
- If the problem continues, contact support—internal spring may be damaged.
- Hose does not lock in place
- Cause: Hose not extended far enough or ratchet not engaging

- Solution: Pull hose out further—listen for multiple “clicks.” Release slowly to allow ratchet to hold position.
- Water leaking at input or output
- Cause: Loose connection, worn washer, or damaged fitting

- Solution: Turn off the water supply. Tighten connections. Inspect and replace washers or fittings if needed. Use thread seal tape for a better seal.
- Weak or no water flow
- Cause: Blocked nozzle, kinked hose, or low supply pressure

- Solution: Check water source pressure. Straighten hose to remove kinks. Clean or replace spray nozzle or connected tool.
- Hose retracts too quickly (whips)
- Cause: Letting go of the hose without control

- Solution: Always guide the hose while retracting to prevent damage or injury.
- Reel shifts or wobbles during use
- Cause: Loose mounting hardware or unstable surface

- Solution: Tighten all mounting screws or bolts. Ensure the reel is mounted on a stable wall, ceiling stud, or secure surface.
