Operation / Usage
- Inspect cable/reel; ensure outlet is grounded and supports 20A; test ratchet for proper function
- Pull & lock to desired length; plug in tools, lights, or appliances (≤ 2500W combined)
- Retract with a short forward tug; guide cable back slowly to prevent whipback
- After use: Power off devices, unplug reel, and store in a dry location
Before Use
- Inspect for Damage: Confirm there are no frays, cracks, or loose connections on the cable or reel.
- Check Power Supply: Plug into a properly grounded 110V outlet with 20 Amp capacity.
- Test Retraction: Slowly pull the cable to the desired length and listen for the ratchet to click and hold.
- Socket Load Limits: Do not exceed 2500W total across the three outlets.
Troubleshooting Guide- Cable does not retract
- Cause: Cable not pulled far enough to disengage lock, or internal spring mechanism is stuck

- Solution: Pull the cable farther until you hear a “click.” Check for obstructions inside the reel. If tension doesn’t return, contact support—internal spring may be damaged.
- Cable does not lock in place
- Cause: Cable not extended far enough to engage the locking mechanism, or lock is worn/defective

- Solution: Pull slowly until you hear clicks. If issue persists, contact support for service.
- No power at sockets
- Cause: Reel is unplugged, outlet has no power, circuit breaker tripped, or internal fault

- Solution: Verify the power connection and outlet function. Reset the circuit breaker if necessary. Contact support if power is still not restored.
- Plug gets hot during use
- Cause: Device overload or damaged prongs

- Solution: Unplug immediately. Check the wattage of connected devices and ensure it does not exceed 2500W total. Inspect the plug for damage before further use.
- Sparking or burning smell
- Cause: Short circuit or internal failure
