Proseal FS Food Safe Certified impregnating sealer is rated by fabricators as one of the best stone sealers to be used on natural stone such as granite and marble.

Proseal FS is outstanding for applications that require a Food Safe Certified Application.

On the surface , it might seem that way. But the reality is that they do not! Tenax Proseal FS Ultra Premium Stone Sealer out performs these sealers over and over again. In every instance that Proseal FS Granite and Marble Sealer has been tested directly against these sealers, the Proseal FS is the one that does not leave the stain.

Don't just take the Tenax word. Independent companies have compared Proseal FS against severl brands of sealers including; Dry Treat, Stone Tech, and Miracle Sealants 511. All of these sealers are very well known and 2 of them offer warranties. What was the result? Only Proseal FS did not leave the stain.

Does "Warranty" Equal "Better"?

Why doesn't Tenax offer a warranty with Proseal FS Premium Stone Sealer if it is better than the warranty stone sealers on the market? Read the fine print of the sealers and you will see exactly what is covered, all the hoops a fabricator has to jump through to even attempt to get a warranty (one even asks to send them a piece of the countertop to them so they can determine it was their sealer), only to find that the warranty companies will send you a free bottle of sealer.

Tenax would much rather offer the best sealer that chemists can make at a very affordable price, have a fabricator seal the granite, marble, stone counter top, and allow the home owner to not worry about stains. Tenax prefers the old keep it simple method.

Protection Against Kitchen Liquid Stains

Tenax Proseal is suitable to protect granite against practically all potential kitchen stain causing items: coffee, wine, oil, peanut butter, mustard, ketchup, soda, etc. This impregnating sealer also works well with polished, honed, brushed, matte, finishes.

Suitable for Porous Materials

What about high porosity materials such as marble, travertine, limestone? Tenax Proseal FS fills the pores and seals these very porous stones and protects the stone from oil and water stains better than any other stone sealer for porous material.

Can Proseal Be Used On Grout?

Absolutely! Proseal premium stone sealer works very well on grout. Apply Proseal FS to grout and test it by putting any liquid on the sealed surface. it will bead up like you just waxed your car!

Indoor & Outdoor Applications

Outstanding for Indoor and outdoor applications, Proseal FS is recommended for stone that will be exposed to wet conditions such as showers, patios, outside bars, pool copings, pavers, etc.

Appearance and Duration

Tenax Proseal FS does not change the natural colors of the stone and allows the stone to breathe without leaving a film on the surface. The protection will last up to 4-5 years if the product is applied correctly on the surface and areas that are not under direct wear and use.

Tenax Proseal FS Stone Sealer Motto: Seal it and forget it! If you have a job that you know it really, really needs sealed, Tenax Proseal is your must go to sealer. If you want to install a kitchen and not worry about stain call backs, Tenax Proseal FS is the sealer for you!

How to Use Proseal FS Stone Sealer

Sealing natural stone surfaces with our Proseal FS stone sealer is simple and easy. All you need to do is simply following these steps:

  1. If this is the first application of Proseal FS, be sure to test the sealer on an inconspicuous section of the material.
  2. Clean the entire surface of the area to be treated using an approved cleaner for natural stone.
  3. Thoroughly dry the cleaned surface.
  4. Spread Tenax Proseal FS evenly with brush, sponge, cloth or spray gun until surface no longer absorbs product.
  5. After a 4-5 minutes buff with a clean cloth.
  6. Any excess of Tenax Proseal FS creates superficial glossy and sticky films so any excess must be removed immediately after the application.
  7. Repeat after 10-15 minutes.
  8. Wait 24 hours to allow the stone to dry and reach 100% protection.
  9. Do not walk on floor for 24 hours.

One liter of Proseal FS treats approximately 215-323 sq. ft depending on the porosity of the stone.

Application Temperature:

The suggested application temperature for Proseal FS is 50°-95°F. The ideal temperature for application is 68°-77°F. Above 95°F will pose a problem due to increased evaporation.

Shelf Life:

This product will last at least 1 year if kept between 65° and 77°. Keep away from heat, humidity and sunlight.

WARNING: Proseal FS does not provide anti-etch protection on marble surfaces. Use of acidic substances such as wine, tomato, citrus, coffee, etc. will etch the surface by creating a chemical reaction with the calcium carbonate present in marbles. For etching problems please use Etch Remover.
